Isaac Albeniz (1869-1909) was a renowned pianist and popular composer of international acclaim. His piano compositions were based primarily on Spanish folk music which brought Spanish music to new heights around the world. As a result of his popularity, many of his works were arranged for other instrument; primarily guitar. Due to poor health in the early 20th century, he focused solely on compositions for piano giving up his career as a pianist. Having brought Spanish folk music to the forefront, he unfortunately passed at the age of 48 after a struggle with Bright’s disease.

Suite Espanola “Granada” is presented here for a number of different solo instruments (listed below) with piano accompaniment.
