Tiger is a tribute to the late Rowland Nielson. Any one who was ever around Rowland for any length of time knows that he would always address all the young men as “Tiger.”

Tiger is an abstract piece and is ideal for a younger developing line. The instrumentation is minimal in the mallet section, but parts can be doubled and tripled as desired to accommodate larger ensembles.
