Unsung Heroes celebrates the people who have a significant impact on our lives while remaining distinctively human.  These people guide and shape us, some existing in our lives for only a few moments, others are lifelong companions. By definition, they are people who do great deeds but receive little or no recognition for them.

Although there are strong motivic references to Aaron Copland’s “Fanfare for the Common Man” throughout, this piece has a very exciting and vibrant drive from beginning to end.  This would be an outstanding opener to a show that wants to stay fun, inspirational, light, and positive.
